On June 18, 2024, China (Guangxi) -Cambodia Cross-Border Trade and Investment Promotion Conference was held at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi Committee in Qingxiu District, Nanning City. Assistant Dean of China-ASEAN School of Economics, Mao Wei, was invited to attend the conference.

This promotion conference was guided by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi Committee, jointly hosted by Guangxi Chamber of International Commerce and Guangxi Tongwang Law Firm. It attracted representatives from 150 enterprises to understand the Cambodia's investment environment and policies.

Through the conference, the China-ASEAN School of Economics has continuously broadened its international perspective and further strengthened its understanding of investment policies in Cambodia, financial service cases of autonomous region financial institutions going abroad, and tax service cases related to law. This provides a reference for our experts and scholars to conduct in-depth research on Cambodia's economy and political environment in the future. Meanwhile, it also strengthened our school’s contacts with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangxi Committee and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Nanning, further highlighting the shool-running characteristics and advantages of ASEAN research.
